Deontaye Vontavious “Dee” Caple was born on October 11, 1996. He attended Ridgecrest Elementary, Phenix City Intermediate School, South Girard Junior High School, Central High School, and Troy State University. He always made good grades. Many teachers regard him a “respectful, well-mannered young man”. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Deontaye often assisted those in need. His smile was reflective of his giving nature. At Central High School, he received the Senior Superlative for Best Smile. After caring for his disabled grandmother, Deontaye had aspirations of becoming a Physical Therapist.

- Career Technical Program: Carpentry and Masonry
- Volunteer for Camp APAC (Children Aids Society of Alabama)
- Volunteer Columbus Regional Hospital
- Volunteer with Russell County Department of Human Resources
